Welcome to Kay Brearley (formally Kay9Bearley), the bespoke, small animal sitting service dedicated to keeping your pets happy, healthy, and loved while you’re away. We offer this service to a range of pets, including small animals, birds, fish and reptiles. We know how much your small animals mean to you, and we’re here to provide a specifically tailored care plan to meet your individual needs, ensuring that your pets remain stress-free in their home environment.
What We Offer
We tailor feeding to your needs & offer fuss & playtime to maintain your pet’s routine.
We will clean and manage living areas as required.
We make your home look occupied by adjusting lighting, collecting mail, & putting out bins.
We offer a garden watering service for an extra charge.
We offer one or two daily visits depending on your pet’s needs.
About us
Vast experience
We are a husband-and-wife team supported by Ann Bennett, who collectively have years of experience caring for cats of all ages, breeds, and temperaments.
Insurance and training
We are fully insured with Petplan Sanctuary. All of the Team members are DBS checked. Additionally, we hold Feline First Aid qualifications.
Peace of Mind
We treat your home and pets as if they were our own. We offer regular updates and photos of your cats to reassure you that your cats are happy and comfortable.

How it Works
Initially, we will meet you and your pet(s) to discuss your needs. We will let you browse our business portfolio, which includes the insurance document and security clearance for your reassurance. If your keys are needed to access your home, we have a security system that we will explain when we meet. The first meeting will include you providing relevant information to make sure your pet(s) enjoy the Kay Brearley Sitting experience.
This initial consultation is of course free of charge and if you decide you want to use our services we will request that you complete a Business Service Agreement that includes all of the above details and veterinary practice details should they be required.

Pricing
Standard pricing as follows which may vary according to individual requirements
One Daily Visit: £ 10-00 per day (Bank Holiday – £15-00)
Two Daily Visits: £ 17-00 per day (Bank Holiday – £25-00)
Custom packages are available upon request.
